3 Warning signs before you are going to meditate.

Meditation is not the transitive verb that needs objects.

You just simple meditate. You just simply relax. Don’t ask the objects that you will relax on. This not anything’s businesses but yours. You need relaxation. Meditation is the conscious relaxation. If the object exists, you don’t really meditate, and objects is not necessary to be the concrete. Your thought can be the object. Your feeling can be object even your breathing can be the object. If you meditate on “it”, you will miss meditation. You are motivated by the object. The passion rises to you and you will be tired on meditation which is absurd when you really meditate.

Meditation is not the activity that you can do just for 5 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour.

Are you going to be meditative just for an hour? How about 23 hours in one day? Being insane? Your meditative hour will be wiped out with 23 insane hours, so you have to understand meditation. You can stay meditative all the time even if you don’t sit still and close your eyes. Turn everything you do to the meditation. Whatever you do, watch. Become the observer on what you do, then you are no longer to be the doer. You are the watcher. Doer has never known what he does. Only the witness knows.

Meditation is not to repress something. You may see monks closing their eyes and don’t move.

They seem worthwhile to be praise but they are like the clam ocean with the raging wave underneath. Repressing something create the difficult and unfortunately that the society always praise on it. However, suppressing something will create dis-ease. To avoid it, you have to accept it as the part of totality. Don’t be against it. Welcome them. Be open. You cannot suppress something you hide forever, and when you are no longer can, it will come out with the very wrong time. It is the silent killer.

So, do not suppress anything. Relax. Focus on nothing and stay alert all time.
