I observe so many people who try to lose weight and exercise. At first, they are so ambitious that they announce the number of weights they would like to reduce in the fixed days or week. However, the result turns opposite. Most of them fail. I know that posting on the Facebook about the ambition is the great strategy but finally they are beaten up by no one, who read their Facebook status, but themselves.
How can this happen? Here is the simple answer.
When they do things good like having the vegeterians’ food or taking the exercise so hard, they presume that they have right to eat something especially the unhealthy food (fast food, for example). This is what I call “Sin License”
Have you even allowed yourself to do things bad or unhealthy by claiming that you have done the good things?
If yes, then first, congratulation. You are brave to accept your actions. (so am I lol). The sin license will allow you to the bad thing. Actually, you allow yourself to be the negative actions even before you do the good things. For example, you may think that “Hey, the pie is in front of me. Lets finish this first and I will exercise later” sounds like the procrastination.
With sin license, everyone can fail including me. However, please remember that don’t be strict to yourself.
I have once read the book “Willpower Instinct” and it suggest us this “don’t be strict on yourself”.
Being serious on yourself will be worth nothing to control your behaviour but the opposite!
Surprisingly, if you fail, then compassionate to yourself and move on for the goal you set. That will help you be successful.
